3 September – Port Smith

Only about a one hour drive to our next camp at Port Smith. Can’t see the port and the ‘lagoon’ they advertise is somewhere behind the mangroves at low tide. There’s a golf course but if it’s a golf course then any bit of scrub in Australia is a potential golf course.

Still, the toilet and shower facilities are excellent. Spent the day reading, walking the golf course and sorting photos.
