9-10 September – Coral Bay and Exmouth

From the modified sign at the tourist information bay these places are also known as Sexmouth and Oral Bay.

We are camped at Coral Bay where, at low tide, the coral and reef fish are a few metres from the water edge. The weather is still in the mid twenties with a bit of a sea breeze.

DJ had a couple of ‘snorkelling’ sessions with goggles but no snorkel or flippers. Still had a great time regardless.

During our day trip to Exmouth we had a fish and chip lunch at the Vlamingh Head lighthouse where we watched 2 whales about 500 metres off the head.
