Today was an easy run to Kununurra. For the first time we saw a fair amount of fauna along the road (dead and alive), including kangaroos several times crossing the road in front of us. Being Sunday afternoon, Kununurra was closed with many shop windows barred or shuttered.
We had a look at the old river crossing at Ivanhoe crossing – something to try another day – then finished the day with a $20 ‘all you can eat’ barby dinner at the pub.
And, DW and DJ are happy today because Melbourne won at the footy.
