07 August – Katherine to Victoria River

We started towards Kununurra this morning but, after 200Km, arrived at Victoria River and decided it was too good to go past. We picked a lovely camping spot under a shady tree near the river and propped for the day.

Gordo took DW fishing down on the river. Score: Gordo - minus 3 lures; DW – temporary possession of one undersized barramundi. Anyway, Gordo is happy because Collingwood won.

Late in the afternoon some of us went for a stroll up the escarpment and got some great pics.
